# Plexos Leads Team in New Mexico's June 2024 South Fork Fire and Salt Fire

[Plexos Group](https://www.plexosgroup.com/) led a team to provide end-to-end support for response and recovery functions as the June 2024 South Fork Fire and Salt Fire gave way to a series of high-impact flood events, flood events which had statewide impacts.

Plexos led a team that  worked closely with state and local officials at the Emergency Operations Center providing support around the clock.

## **Plexos now sits at the heartbeat of continued recovery operations**

We successfully supported the State of New Mexico in receiving the fastest approved Disaster Case Management grant and have a team of 22 staff serving residents through their recovery, including FEMA Individual Assistance applications, and seeking resources through other federal programs and local non-profit resources.  
   
Plexos is also managing the FEMA Public Assistance program. Within three weeks of the State Legislature passing the loan fund. We developed $300 million in projects, which supported the rapid rollout of State loan funds to support FEMA-PA projects. We support the State of New Mexico with oversight to the Private Property Debris Removal program, have staff embedded with Applicants supporting their operations, and are coordinating a series of task forces which engage local, state, and federal partners to accomplish recovery objectives.
