      Plexos is leading infrastructure and resilience efforts across 21 municipalities on the eastern side of Puerto Rico for the Puerto Rico Department of Housing's (PRDOH) City Revitalization Program. Municipalities include Arroyo, Canóvanas, Carolina, Catano, Ceiba, Culebra, Fajardo, Guayama, Gurabo, Humacao, Juncos, Las Piedras, Loiza, Luquillo, Maunabo, Naguabo, Patillas, Rio Grande, San Juan, San Lorenzo, Trujillo Alto, Vieques, Yabucoa.

      Plexos' Work for the PRDOH's City Revitalization Program

      Plexos is currently providing program and management services to PRDOH’s City Revitalization Program to deliver $1.3 billion in program funding to assist storm survivors of Hurricanes Irma and Maria in restoring and rebuilding. 

      As part of this CDBG-DR-funded program to revitalize cities impacted by the devastation of hurricane Maria, Plexos’ program and construction management experts are leading all program tasks from inception to closeout with three subcontractors and 22 team members. Our local teams guide the planning and development of restoration and rebuilding projects for key infrastructure in city centers, urban areas and key commercial corridors, and key commercial corridors across 21 municipalities on the eastern side of Puerto Rico for PRDOH’s City Revitalization Program.

      How Plexos Is Helping Storm Survivors

      Our team is helping subrecipients boost infrastructure resilience, facilitate affordable rental housing options, enhance building facades, guide economic development projects and ensure ADA compliant accessibility measures to reinvigorate urban areas and attract private investment activity.

      In addition to performing intake, application eligibility determinations, damage assessments and inspections, Plexos facilitates Tier I and Tier II environmental assessments. Our CDBG-DR subject matter experts ensure that all projects comply with CDBG requirements.

      To date, Plexos has assisted municipalities obtain approval for 85 projects with a combined value of more than $259.6 Million; provided technical assistance via 255 outreach events, and 200 hours of training for Subrecipient Agreement Performance Reporting and Grants Compliance Portal.
