Plexos is currently providing program management and advisory support services to Puerto Rico Department of Housing's (PRDOH) Home Repair, Reconstruction, and Recovery (R3) Program to deliver $2.18 billion in assistance to storm survivors of hurricanes Irma and Maria in the Puerto Caribe Region.
As part of this effort, our team provides the PRDOH with Program Management/Construction Management, CDBG-DR Subject Matter Expertise (SME), and case management and damage assessment services in the Puerto Caribe Region of Puerto Rico. Municipalities include Aguas Buenas, Aibonito, Arroyo, Caguas, Cayey, Cidra, Coamo, Guayama, Juana Diaz, Juncos, Maunabo, Patillas, Peñuelas, Ponce, Salinas, Santa Isabel, San Lorenzo, and Villalba.
Our multi-lingual staff was instrumental in launching this program, and has assisted with the completion of nearly 4,000 properties by processing applications and performing eligibility reviews on more than 1,700 registrations, and performing nearly 1,500 damage assessments, meeting the damage assessment metrics established by the PRDOH.
As the Program Manager, Plexos is providing intake and eligibility determinations on applications for assistance and meet PRDOH’s damage assessment metrics. In addition, our CDBG-DR SME has developed policies and procedures for the implementation of program services in compliance with the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Action of 1970, as amended (URA).
As part of this ongoing effort, Plexos will continue to support our client in building capacity and streamlining program processes and procedures to maximize the level of assistance to program applicants. The Puerto Rico Department of Housing's R3 Program is one of the largest programs of its kind and Plexos is proud to be a part of this important effort.
